Josef Kote Personal Appearance

Galeria del Mar, a Cutter & Cutter Fine Art Company, announced today an exhibition of over 30 new originals and limited editions from New York based artist Josef Kote. A private Collector’s Party and reception will take place on Friday, May 30^th from 7-10pm and the exhibition is open to the public and available for sale on Saturday, May 31st. Josef Kote will be available during a public Meet & Greet on Saturday between 12-5pm.

“These colorful originals from Josef Kote represent the greatest excitement we have seen in many years” said Len Cutter, president. Cutter went on to say, “Kote’s unique blend of realism with abstraction and expressionism has enlightened us as art dealers to a change in the tastes of art lovers in our First Coast marketplace. Kote was born in Albania, immigrated to Toronto and has recently settled in New York City.

Friday, April 26 - - Arts Alive: The St. Johns County Education Foundation (SJCEF) and Bozard Ford will present the second annual Arts Alive Performing Arts Competition at 6 p.m. at Nease High School. More than 60 students auditioned and 14 will be competing for the title of Arts Alive Grand Champion. The show will feature singers, songwriters, pianists, dancers and more. Admission is free; attendees will have the opportunity to purchase voting rights for $5 at the door, which will give them the ability to vote on performances via a handheld clicker, and choose the winner of the People’s Choice Award. Garmash and Danish 2012 Exhibition

This past weekend we opened our 2012 Michael & Inessa Garmash and Dmitri Danish Exhibition at Galeria del Mar. As usual the night began with collectors strolling the gallery floors and enjoying the very high quality paintings of these two engaging and excellent artists. There was wine, wonderful hor d’oeuvres from A1A Restaurant and a remarkable buzz stimulated by the presence of two world-class guitarists (a husband and wife team). Worley Faver Personal Appearance

On Friday, February 17^th Brilliance In Color fine art gallery (25 King Street, St. Augustine, FL) will feature the nationally acclaimed artist Worley Faver in a live demonstration of the ancient coil technique of pottery creation. Faver will be available from 2PM until 6PM and will interact and answer questions regarding his motivation, diversity and epic evolution of this one-of-a-kind dramatic style. Pottery prices range from $600.00 to $8000.00 and we believe that every collector can find something from Worley Faver to blend with and augment any art collection.

Royo's canvases are an elegant form of language, however his efforts are not limited to the obvious (that he paints beautiful women in unique settings), we have come to understand that his art is an effort to identify a myriad of emotion and feeling. We are inspired by his insightful words, “I do not paint horses or people, I paint sublimate ideas; emotions which are transmitted through forms.”
